Angels and Archangels - Divine Messengers and How to Connect with Them

Angels, and Archangels in particular, are some of my most beloved beings.

They are there whenever I need them. And they can be there for you too.

One of my favorite stories about divine assistance in my own life, involves a trip I took to Colorado and the flat tire I had along the way. What an adventure. It's a fun story and a wonderful example of how divine assistance can be there for you no matter what the circumstance.

Often, as I explain in the article on divine assistance, I don't call specifically on a specific divine being.

I often simply say "I need help here." And the help always manifests.

Calling on the Archangels - Michael, Gabriel, Uriel, and Raphael

Sometimes, however, I do want to specifically work with (or call on) specific assistance, and I often choose these four very powerful and beneficial beings.

I learned this technique from a delightful book called Spirit Guides & Angel Guardians by Richard Webster. There are so many great books to choose from, and I find that this one by Richard is one of my favorites.

You simply ask that Archangel Michael - the great protector - stand beside you on the right side. Next ask that Archangel Gabriel - who gives you confidence and helps to overcome fear - stand beside you on the left side. Then ask that Archangel Uriel - who helps you see with greater clarity - stand directly in front of you. And finally ask that Archangel Raphael - the great healer - stand behind you.

You can close your eyes to ask for their presence. Practice this a few times and soon you will know that they are there. Many people have a sixth sense, even though it may not be very highly developed. And everyone has a primary mode in which they sense the subtle energies of the Universe.

Some see thing in their mind's eye. Some hear someone talking to them and can even hear the angelic choir. Finally some sense, or can feel, the angelic presence and other divine helpers - including dolphins, faeries, animal guides, the Holy Spirit, and more.
